I’m an American-Canadian and have lived all over the northwest coast, from Oregon up to Alaska. I’m currently living in Port Alberni on unceded Nuu-chah-nulth territory on Vancouver Island.
I’m a student in the Digital Design + Development Post Graduate Certificate program, and I’m also a full-time journalist with Black Press Media.
I joined this program because I’ve had an interest in the digital field ever since I was a child.
Journalism is constantly changing in this digital world. With this program, I hope to expand my knowledge of web design and digital marketing so that I can keep up with those changes and broaden my career options, both inside and outside the journalism field.
