Project Manager:

  • The project manager will be responsible for the project scope, which includes coming up with a project plan, schedule and budget. The project manager will also assign tasks and deadlines to each of the other team members.

UX designer:

  • The UX designer will be responsible for fully ideating the final product, including how it will function and how it will look. The UX designer will conduct competitor and customer analysis and conduct user testing with a group of pilot participants.
  • The UX designer will also create wireframes and prototypes, and will design the final prototypes to pass on to the developer.

Graphic designer:

  • The graphic designer will be responsible for creating branding for the product, which includes a logo and a style guide. The graphic designer will work closely with the UX Designer, the developer and the marketing director to ensure visual communication and brand standards are met.
  • The graphic designer will also work with the marketing director to create assets for marketing and branding.

Developer:

  • The developer’s job is to code the app and the web app for desktop users. This will involve frontend coding and backend coding (such as creating a database to pull content about different flight locations and using APIs for weather and other information).

Marketing director:

  • I will be the marketing director on the team. My job is to build, plan and implement a marketing strategy to sell the app to amateur flight clubs. This will involve researching competition, managing contacts and building email lists with things like a landing page (with help from the developer).
  • I will also develop and implement an SEO strategy and create written content for all marketing.
  • I will work with the graphic designer to create assets for all marketing and branding.
