The DIGITAL Design + Development website, for the most part, meets most accessibility standards. It uses methods like grouping, chunking and anchors to reduce cognitive load. It also uses a consistent colour scheme and typography. The slider on the home page, however, might be a barrier for people with disabilities.

Perceivable: 4/5
The website makes use of contrast so text is easier to read—for example, dark colours on light backgrounds and light colours on dark backgrounds. Most images on the site are described using captions, but I could not find alt-text for the slider on the home page, which might be a barrier for people with visual impairments.

Operable: 5/5
All clickable targets on the site are obvious because they are coloured in red. The site is easy to navigate, with clear titles and consistent design clues. Images include text descriptions, and the slider moves by itself, which allows people with limited fine motor control to view all the images.

Understandable: 5/5

Consistent interface elements make this website easy to follow and the bar at the top of the page indicates where users are on the site. Content is presented in plain language with headings to separate passages into smaller sections, avoiding large blocks of text.

Robust: 4/5

The website looked the same and was accessible on both Google Chrome and Firefox. On mobile, the website was still functional, with the bar at the top of the page replaced by a sandwich menu. The logo, however, was very small on mobile and difficult to read.
